It is He who saves you from every distress

Say, “It is Allah who saves you from it and from every distress; then you [still] associate others with Him.”
[Surat al-An’aam, 6:64]
کہو کہ خدا ہی تم کو اس (تنگی) سے اور ہر سختی سے نجات بخشتا ہے۔ پھر (تم) اس کے ساتھ شرک کرتے ہو
SubhanAllah. This almost made me cry. Allah saves us from EVERY distress, yet we are still ungrateful. Sometimes we see the world as bleak, sometimes we lose hope in ourselves, or we lose hope in others and we see the world in a distorted way- our problems are seen as the biggest obstacle in our way. But Allah tells us it is He that can save us from every distress, so why do we lose hope? Why do we not see things the way they really are- that Allah is greater than all of this, and that He will save us inshAllah? So next time we feel down, distressed or in anguish, remember the One that can help you- Allah.
